Dr. Alya Al Quraidi, is a PhD holder in Engineering Systems Management from American University of Sharjah (AUS), a PMP certified professional, and a member of the Institute of Asset Management (IAM) with 8 years’ experience in the infrastructure sector. She was the operations manager of wastewater treatment plants in the city of Sharjah under Sharjah Municipality.

Currently, she is the head of standards, and training and awareness sections in Sharjah Prevention & Safety Authority (SPSA), spearheading the development of a world-wide recognized Occupational Health & Safety in the emirates of Sharjah. In her role, she ensures the development and enforcement of OHS regulations, policies, and compliance frameworks. Neil Flemming is the Founder and CEO of Asset Integrity Engineering (AIE), headquartered in Sharjah. AIE currently supports a global client base in the integrity management of assets producing over 3 million barrels of oil per day equivalent.

Sandra Knuteson focusses on environmental (ENV) sustainability through the management, monitoring and assessment of ENV impacts. This leads to teaching and research in a broad range of topics, from monitoring of pollutants and trends in local ecosystems of water sediment and organisms to the idea of ENV management and sustainability in industry, currently in education and tourism. She has taught basic ENV chemistry and science for non-STEM students, ENV sustainability, ENV toxicology, ENV monitoring and analysis (lab course), and ENV management and assessment. She has advised senior research projects, many interacting with local environmental agencies and NGOs, on monitoring of local freshwater and marine ecosystems. With experience in the Oil & Gas sector and currently serving in a government OSH regulatory body, Abdalla is the Director of Facilities Compliance at the Sharjah Prevention and Safety Authority (SPSA). In this role, he ensures that entities operating within the Emirate of Sharjah fully comply with OSHJ and SPSA regulations and codes of practice.

Aisha Alsouqi is an Education Manager at BEEAH, working towards motivating and empowering learners to shape a sustainable future by acquiring knowledge and skills while fostering values towards positive climate action.

Most recently, she was one of the UAE ambassadors at COP28. Ali Abdulla has amassed over 37 years of vast experience in the oil and gas industry, having served in diverse roles and taken on various responsibilities.

He commenced his career with American Oil Company in 1987. Subsequently, he joined BP and held several positions, including Integrity Manager, Y2K Manager, Marine LPG and Condensate Terminal Manager, and HSSE Manager until 2010.

Ali then moved to Petrofac Middle East, North Africa, and the Commonwealth Independent States, where he served as Corporate HSSEIA Manager and eventually became Regional VP of HSSEIA.

In 2018, Ali was appointed Senior Vice President of HSSEIA for Petrofac's global Engineering & Construction division, and in June 2020, he assumed the position of UAE Country Chair.
